    Anxiety, Depression, Trauma (Brainspotting)

You are completely overwhelmed with life.  Your anxiety has the best of you. You cannot relax.  It’s hard to breathe. Your chest feels tight and you are on edge, isolated and alone.  All the stuff in your head feels exhausting.  You have no one to talk to about it.  No one gets you.  No one feels trustworthy.  Trusting others has never helped before.  You want to run and hide.  You feel disappointed in yourself for not being able to cope with what’s going on. You feel stuck.

You feel helpless and numb yourself out with food or alcohol or shopping to help you feel better.  Without the numbing, you are in a constant state of panic.

You have no idea what to do anymore.  You go through all the motions, but there is no rest.  If you stop, you will let others down.  You feel like the exhaustion and overwhelm may kill you.

My name is Janie Sacks and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.  I help men and women who feel overwhelmed and exhausted by their anxiety and feel like they are drowning with no one to help them.

I help clients through the use of Brainspotting.  Brainspotting is a brain-based therapy that can actually heal your brain from trauma, anxiety, depression, and much more.  Pretty amazing, huh?  Brainspotting is faster than talk therapy and many people come to me after spending years in talk therapy.  Your brain will do more work outside of our sessions than it did when we are together.  Your 3-pound brain is a healing machine!

Your time and your money will be used wisely.  We will spend the first session talking about your therapy goals, your negative beliefs about yourself, what you want more of and less of in your life, as well as difficult experiences or traumas that have kept you in certain life patterns that you desire to change. We set up measurable goals that way and you can know exactly where you are on your progress.

My clients often say that they feel like they feel more present after working with me.  They are able to breathe again.  They often say that they have hope and feel more fully alive.

If you are ready to find some relief from your overwhelm and anxiety and be more present to your life, contact me for a FREE 15-minute consultation at 408-535-0163 or click below to discover how therapy with a measurable plan and the right therapist can help change how you live in the world today, tomorrow and into the future!
